-
Save $100 on ANY Driver’s Ed Package – Discount code: 2026. Our biggest Black Friday discount is $100 off any Driver’s Ed package, regardless of how your teen prefers to learn.
Drive Smart Georgia offers three flexible options:
- In-person Driver’s Ed. Our traditional classroom experience features professional instructors who help students understand Georgia traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, road signs, and the responsibilities that come with driving. Students benefit from face-to-face instruction, classroom discussions, and opportunities to ask questions throughout the course. In-person classes are available at our Cumming, Milton, and Alpharetta locations.
- Live Zoom Driver’s Ed. Prefer the convenience of learning from home? Our live Zoom classes provide the same 30 hours of instructor-led education without the commute. Students interact with their instructor in real time, ask questions, and participate in classroom activities from home. This option is especially convenient for busy families and students who live near our Alpharetta, Suwanee, and Roswell satellite locations.
- Aceable Self-Paced Online Driver’s Ed. For teenagers who need maximum scheduling flexibility, Drive Smart Georgia also offers Georgia-approved online Driver’s Ed through Aceable. Students complete their 30-hour course at their own pace, using a convenient start-and-stop format that fits around school, sports, extracurricular activities, and family commitments.

During our biggest sale of the year, families can save $30 on any of these three services:

Thanksgiving Break Driver’s Ed Classes: A Smart Way to Spend the School Holiday
Thanksgiving is usually filled with family gatherings, delicious food, and a welcome break from school, but it can also be an excellent opportunity for teenagers to work toward their driver’s license!
Our Thanksgiving Break Driver’s Ed classes are especially popular with families who want to accomplish something meaningful during the holiday without adding more responsibilities to an already busy school schedule.
Here’s why Thanksgiving Break is an excellent time to enroll.
Take Advantage of Time Away from School
During the school year, many teenagers juggle homework, sports, clubs, and other activities. Adding a 30-hour Driver’s Ed course can be challenging. Thanksgiving Break gives students an opportunity to focus on learning essential driving skills without their usual academic demands.
Get a Head Start Before the New Year
Why wait until spring or summer to begin Driver’s Ed? Students who complete their classroom instruction during the fall or winter can move forward with the next steps in their driving education as they become eligible.
Teenagers can even complete their 30-hour Driver’s Ed classroom course before receiving a Georgia learner’s permit.
Give Your Teen a Meaningful Holiday Opportunity
Instead of spending the entire holiday scrolling through social media or playing video games, teenagers can invest some of their free time in learning skills they’ll use throughout their lives. Completing Driver’s Ed is an important step toward greater responsibility and independence.
And with our Black Friday sale, families can save $100 on Thanksgiving Break Driver’s Ed packages!
Winter Break Driver’s Ed Classes: Start the New Year on the Right Road
If Thanksgiving Break doesn’t work for your family’s schedule, don’t worry. Our Winter Break Driver’s Ed classes offer another convenient opportunity to complete required classroom instruction while school is out. Winter Break is especially attractive for families who want to plan ahead for the coming year.
Complete Driver’s Ed Without School-Year Stress
With fewer school-related responsibilities, teenagers can devote more attention to learning traffic laws, road safety, and defensive driving principles. Parents also benefit from having fewer scheduling conflicts.
Prepare for Spring Driving Opportunities
Completing Driver’s Ed during Winter Break can help families get organized for future driving lessons, supervised practice, and eventual road test preparation. Rather than waiting until the busy spring and summer seasons, students can establish a strong educational foundation during the winter.
Choose the Class Format That Fits Your Holiday Plans
Traveling during Winter Break? Our live Zoom classes may provide a convenient alternative when students can attend every scheduled session from a suitable location.
Need even more flexibility? Our Aceable self-paced online course allows teenagers to progress through the material on a schedule that works for their family.
Remember: Our $100 Black Friday Driver’s Ed discount applies to Winter Break classes, too!
Holiday class schedules and availability vary, so families are encouraged to register early.
Why Georgia Parents Choose Drive Smart Georgia
A Black Friday discount is a great reason to enroll, but choosing the right driving school is about much more than saving money.
At Drive Smart Georgia, our mission is to teach teenagers safe driving habits that last a lifetime. Since opening in 2009, we’ve helped more than 100,000 students take important steps toward becoming safer, more responsible drivers.
Here are a few reasons families throughout North Atlanta trust Drive Smart Georgia.
17 Years of Driver Education Experience
With 17 years in business, Drive Smart Georgia understands the challenges teenagers and parents face during the licensing process. Our experienced instructors focus on patient, professional education that helps students gain both knowledge and practical skills.
AAA-Recommended Driving School that is endorsed by the founder of Joshua’s Law
Drive Smart Georgia is proud to be endorsed by the founder of Joshua’s Law and AAA, reflecting our commitment to quality driver education and teen driving safety.
93% Road Test Pass Rate
Our 93% road test pass rate reflects our focus on preparing students for the knowledge and skills needed to demonstrate safe driving. However, our goal goes beyond helping teens pass a test. We want them to develop responsible driving habits they’ll continue using long after receiving their licenses.
Modern Vehicles and Added Safety Features
Our clean, late-model training vehicles include instructor-side controls, allowing instructors to intervene when necessary. Students learn in an environment designed to support safety, confidence, and practical instruction.

Understanding Joshua’s Law: Why Driver’s Ed Matters for Georgia Teens
For many families, purchasing Driver’s Ed isn’t simply an optional educational expense. It’s an essential part of meeting Georgia’s teen licensing requirements.
Under Joshua’s Law, teenagers who want to obtain a Georgia Class D provisional driver’s license at ages 16 or 17 must complete:
- 30 hours of approved Driver’s Ed classroom instruction.
- 6 hours of professional behind-the-wheel training.
- 40 hours of supervised driving practice, including 6 hours at night.
Teenagers must also meet other Georgia DDS eligibility requirements, including holding their learner’s permit for at least one year and one day.
When Should My Teen Start Driver’s Ed?
Many parents assume their teenager must first obtain a learner’s permit before enrolling in Driver’s Ed. That’s not the case!
Students can begin the 30-hour classroom portion before receiving their permit, making Thanksgiving and Winter Break excellent opportunities to get started.
However, teenagers must have a valid learner’s permit before beginning behind-the-wheel lessons.
Starting early gives families more time to meet requirements, schedule professional instruction, and complete supervised driving practice without feeling rushed.
Our Black Friday sale gives Georgia parents an opportunity to save on an important part of this process.
