Teen Driver's Ed in Georgia Meets Joshua's Law Requirements

What is Joshua’s Law? Since January 1, 2007, all 16-year-olds in Georgia applying for a Class D driver's license must first complete a driver’s ed course approved by the Department of Driver Services. Upon successful completion of the driver’s ed course, students will receive a "Certificate of Completion" by the State of Georgia, and the DDS is notified.

Anyone 14 year or older can take Driver's Ed

Students must have a permit for diriving lessons, but not for Driver's Ed classes

Students must attend the entire program as scheduled to be eligible for their Certificate of Completion. We are unable to accommodate make-up requests since most of our classes reach the 30 student capacity established for compliance with state regulations. Please understand that overbooking classes affects student safety, compromises the quality of our program and puts our school certification at risk.

  - Convenient Online Scheduling For In-Car Driving Lessons

All of our driving lessons are scheduled online. Our online scheduling partner charges a one-time $5 Fee per student to create an online account. Student accounts will be activated within 72 hours of course completion. There is a 6 Month Expiration Date for in-car driving sessions. Please note, it may be 1-3 weeks before the first available driving session based upon current student demand.
